I had been searching and searching for white sandals for Finley. First of all, finding white for babies isn't easy. I receive emails daily from www.totsy.com. One day in April, I saw Mooshu Trainers. I thought they looked great. They came in solid colors and had a cute, removable and switchable bow. My biggest problem with all of these shoes for babies is that they are so "baby looking". A lot of things for baby are like this. They have flowers, hearts, characters, etc. and they put 6 colors on one shoe. Not my thing. Anyway, so I placed the order for the shoes, white sandals, silver sandals and a pair of mary janes for the fall. Apparently, Totsy never received any only received the silver sandals because they are the only ones we have received and it seems that I will be getting a refund for the rest. It's a bummer because we LOVE the silver pair. They are cushiony, they stay on well and they are so cute. They did come with removable squeakers and thank goodness they are removable!
So the hunt for white sandals was back on. I had seen some that looked okay called Saltwater by Hoy. I was placing an order from www.soap.com and decided I would see if www.diapers.com, www.soap.com's sister company, had them. They did so I ordered them. I felt as though they were a little pricey at $36.00 but because I've been searching and having such a hard time finding what I wanted I decided it was okay. They arrived yesterday, two days after I ordered them, with free shipping, and are perfect! I love them and I really think Finley does too. They come in a variety of colors which is a big plus with me! The quality seems great, they are a nice soft leather with a thin but firm sole.
